ANZAC Park
ANZAC park is an excellent spot to stop for a picnic and enjoy a stroll in native forest.

Historic Churches
St Davids and Epiphany are two Historic Churches in the local area. St Davids is a Presbyterian church located on Coronation Street. Epiphany is an Anglican church located in Ormondville. Each hold services once or twice a month.
Johanna's World
Features a replica Norwegian log cottage (museum) and the first and only Stave Church (Stavkirke) in the Southern Hemisphere. Johanna's World is also the home to Norsewood's Trolls where children can visit the local Troll Caves.

Norsewood Pioneer Cottage Museum
The museum displays the New Zealand heritage of the district, and is furnished in a colonial New Zealand style with original artifacts that have been obtained around the district. The old Ormondville gaol, which was in use between 1894 and 1930, is also on site and can be entered!
Open: 8:30am to 4:30pm daily
Admission: $2. Children under 12 years are admitted free, but must be accompanied by an adult. Bus party rates are available on request.

Norsewood Golf Club
Norsewood golf club offers a 9 hole course which is par 70 for 18 holes at 5281 metres. It is open all year. Club day is Sundays.

Wander around Norsewood following clues on the map seeing the historic sites.

Rangiuru Farm
Simon and Marianna Domper run an organic smallfarm. Cheese Making Work Shops are available. You can also try your hand at Farmers Golf (Troll Golf). Accommodation for farmstay is under construction.

  Ruahine Forest Park
Stay in Norsewood as a base to visit the park. Take a trip to the Sunrise and Longview huts or walk the Apiti Track to the top of the Ruahine Range. Fish for trout in the Manawatu or other local rivers. Hunting and Fishing guides are available in season.
