The king of mobile casinos – LeoVegas - have now announced to the whole world that they have developed their own game studio to be able to develop exclusive games primarily for themselves but also for other interested Game operators.

The background to the whole thing is that LeoVegas has long been interested in developing their own games in order to be able to develop games that have their title in the game names. The same can be seen, for example, at the online casino Mr Green which has games with its name in it. The difference is that this gaming operator did not develop the games on its own. This is exactly what LeoVegas wants to change.

When LeoVegas has now through its companies LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group and LeoVentures have newly formed the game studio with the name Blue Guru Games, they will also own around 85% of the shares in the newly formed game studio.

The group manager at LeoVegas – Gustaf Hagman-commented on the amazing news by saying that: "For a long period we have been able to develop our own exclusive games with the help of third parties, but now it was high time to take the next step and start our own game studio.”

Hagman pointed out the big advantage LeoVegas already has: ”Thanks to our extensive experience in the gaming industry, we will be able to drive innovation forward by launching our very own exclusive and innovative online casino games across all niches, demographics and even internationally speaking.”

In some media outlets that take the pulse of the gaming industry, Hagman also commented that it is not impossible that LeoVegas will also become a full-fledged B2B provider of online casino games with the game studio formation.

What can we expect from Leovega's own game studio?

So far, it is unclear which will be the first game released from Leovega's own game studio Blue Guru Games. What is clear, however, is the hope of being able to release up to 20 games within the next 24 months (2 years).

Another thing LeoVegas will use here as they are behind all their upcoming and now own exclusive games are so-called game characters that will extend over the different games.

In this way, players should recognize not only the game characters, but also which game side they are associated with – that is, LeoVegas. In other words, there is marketing thinking involved and not just a new game studio that there is already plenty of in the gaming industry.

The first game from Blue Guru Games is expected to launch sometime at the end of 2021 if everything goes as planned for all parties involved. The one who lives will see simply!
